Booking Terms & Conditions

Elite Pet Relocation Ltd.

Thank you for choosing Elite Pet Relocation Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By confirming a booking with us, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must notify us before confirming your booking.

1. Definitions

“Customer”, “Owner”, “you” means the person or entity engaging our services.
“Pet(s)” means any animal placed in our care for transportation or related services.
“Services” means all services provided by Elite Pet Relocation Ltd, including but not limited to flight bookings, transport, documentation assistance, boarding, and handling.

2. Nature of Our Services

2.1 Elite Pet Relocation Ltd provides pet relocation and related services including transportation, flight bookings, documentation guidance, and coordination with third parties.

2.2 When arranging flights, we act as an intermediary/agent between the Customer and third-party service providers, including airlines, cargo handlers, overseas agents, customs brokers and ground handlers.

2.3 We do not operate aircraft and are not an air carrier.

3. Quotes

3.1 Quotes are based on information provided by the Customer and are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Airline freight rates, fuel surcharges, and related fees are subject to change without notice.

3.3 If airline or third-party costs increase after a booking is confirmed, the Customer agrees to pay the additional amount required to secure or maintain the booking.

3.4 A deposit may be required to secure a booking. Deposits are strictly non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Payment

4.1 Full payment must be received before any transportation or handling commences unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 We accept payment by bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash.

4.3 Airline tickets and third-party services may be non-refundable or subject to the refund policies of the relevant provider.

5. Insurance

5.1 Elite Pet Relocation Ltd does not provide insurance cover for pets during air transportation.

5.2 The Customer acknowledges and accepts that no insurance policy is in place by Elite Pet Relocation Ltd covering death, injury, delay, loss, or consequential loss during air travel.

6. Pet Health & Owner Responsibilities

6.1 The Customer warrants that the pet is fit to travel and in good health.

6.2 The Customer must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural issues, or special requirements prior to travel.

6.3 Sedation of animals for air travel is strictly prohibited. If a pet is found to be sedated, we reserve the right to cancel transportation without refund.

6.4 The Customer is responsible for ensuring all documentation complies fully with destination and transit country regulations.

6.5 Any costs arising from non-compliant documentation, quarantine, refusal of entry, or return transport shall be borne entirely by the Customer.

7. Crates & Equipment

7.1 The Customer must ensure the pet travels in an airline-compliant crate of appropriate size unless supplied by us.

7.2 Any additional charges imposed by airlines due to non-compliant crates shall be payable by the Customer.

8. Veterinary Treatment

If a pet requires veterinary treatment while in our care, we will take reasonable steps to obtain treatment. All associated costs shall be the responsibility of the Customer.

9. Third-Party Providers

9.1 We are not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, delays, refusals, embargoes, cancellations, mishandling, injury or death caused by airlines, cargo handlers, ground agents, overseas partners, customs authorities or any third party.

9.2 All air carriage is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant airline.

9.3 Airlines may refuse carriage for operational, regulatory, breed, weather, crate, or documentation reasons. We accept no liability for such refusal.

10. Montreal Convention

10.1 International air transportation may be governed by the Montreal Convention 1999.

10.2 Under the Convention, live animals are treated as cargo and airline liability for loss, injury, death or delay may be legally limited.

10.3 Any claim relating to air carriage must be made directly against the airline within the applicable time limits.

10.4 Elite Pet Relocation Ltd does not assume liability beyond that imposed by applicable law and does not accept responsibility for airline liability limits.

11. Delays & Force Majeure

11.1 We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • Airline embargoes on live animals

  • Government restrictions

  • Public health emergencies

  • Disease outbreaks

  • Extreme weather

  • Airport closures

  • Strikes

  • War or civil unrest

11.2 No refunds shall be due for delays caused by force majeure events.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 We shall only be liable for direct loss caused by our proven negligence.

12.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

12.3 We shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Emotional distress

  • Loss of profit or breeding value

  • Loss arising from delay

  • Any loss occurring after pets leave our supervision

 

13. Indemnity

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Elite Pet Relocation Ltd from any claims, losses, penalties, fines or damages arising from:

  • Inaccurate information provided by the Customer

  • Non-compliant documentation

  • Behaviour of the pet

  • Breach of these Terms

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
